‘Travelling the Face of the Globe’ is an event series that I launched in 2024 to celebrate diverse global musical traditions and their commonalities. There have been four events to date at venues around London (Hoxton Cabin, Jamboree, and also a more intimate house concert).
The next edition of the intimate house gig will be on March 8th 2026 featuring ‘Flamenco meets Maqam’ collaborative duo guitarist Ignacio Monteverde and qanun Konstantinos Glynos,. I am thrilled that they will be joined by singer and viola da gamba player Lucine Musaelian, who will also perform a solo set.
Stay tuned for more information, this is certainly one not to miss! See below for highlights from previous editions of TFG.
