‘Travelling the Face of the Globe’ is an event series that I launched in 2024 to celebrate diverse global musical traditions and their commonalities. There have been four events to date at venues around London (Hoxton Cabin, Jamboree, and also a more intimate house concert).
The next edition of the intimate house gig will be on August 16th, featuring the soulful Aleh Ferreira with samba and Alvorada trio performing the virtuostic and playful style of Choro. This is definitely one not to miss! Event information here.
