A new collaboratively written song cycle by Balladeste and singer-songwriter Ana Silvera that explores the many faces of love - from the revelation of romantic connection to the bonds of familial devotion; and from the ecstatic contemplation of the natural world into dark echoes of love’s more troubled shadows and loss.
Rebirth (2021)
Solo EP- 4 track collection of piano and violin pieces, first inspired by a collaboration with dear friend and dancer Nandita Shankardass. The rest sprung forth during revisiting my childhood home and being in this frozen moment of time holding my past, present and future.

Beyond Breath (2021)
The much anticipated second album of Balladeste. Taking fragments of melodic lines from a set of Indian devotional songs learnt in Preetha’s childhood as inspiration for the concept of their new album ‘Beyond Breath’ - the outcome is a cross-cultural melding of musical ideas and styles in its purest sense.

CONVERSATIONS IN RITUAL (2023)
Recorded live at Snape Maltings, Suffolk with support from Britten Pears Arts and Help Musicians UK, Balladeste spent a week playing, improvising & recording with collaborator Alex Bonney (recording engineer/electronic musician) to create what has become Conversations in Ritual - a fully improvised musical narrative influenced by the surroundings in which it was created.
THE OTHER SIDE (2020)
The sophomore release of Quest Ensemble, London-based contemporary trio who bring a unique take to the classical piano trio format. A collaboration between 3 versatile performers/composers - Filipe Sousa (piano), Preetha Narayanan (violin) and Tara Franks (cello), their varied musical styles weave together a lyrical tapestry of sound, blending improvisation with co-created original compositions. Bleeding Heart (2021)
Solo EP - 3 track collection - composed for a diverse instrumentation of voice, violin, string quartet, double bass, trumpet, oud, and percussion.
The three pieces were recorded live at Sands Films Music Room with Zac Gvi engineering in June 2021 with a brilliant team of friends and musicians: Fred Thomas- double bass, Saied Silbak-oud, Midori Jaeger- cello, Alex Bonney-trumpet, Phelan Burgoyne- percussion, Dave Shulman- clarinet, Lara Agar- violin and Kesari Pundarika, viola.
