Green Room Collective @ Rich Mix

Witness seven artists from migrant and refugee backgrounds as they weave music, dance and film to address themes of home, displacement and migration.

After two weeks in residence, living and working as a team, this event marks the first sharing of The Green Room Collective’s collaboration. Experience a powerful synthesis of strings, beats, movement and spoken word!

A celebration of diversity and a dialogue of difference, the performers include:

Héctor Manchego (spoken word & film)

Giuliano Modarelli (guitar & composition)

Angela Hui Wai Nok (percussion & composition)

Hossein Mirzagholi (bass, vocals & composition)

Mahshid Alavi (dance & movement)

Preetha Narayanan (violin & composition)

Deeptarka Mukhopadhyay (tabla, dholak & dhol & composition)

The day festival kicks off at 3pm with talks and screenings around borders, home and sanctuary, culminating with The Green Room Collective’s landmark performance at 730pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking and inspiring event.
